Napulitanata is a concert hall entirely dedicated to the classic Neapolitan song and to the folk music of Campania, to the model of the Spanish Tablaos and the Portuguese Houses of Fados.
Napulitanata is located in a former dilapidated municipal depot which is completely renovated and has 45 seats. You can find it in Naples, in Piazza Museo Nazionale 10, just in front of the Archaeological Museum, under the gallery of the Galleria Principe.
During the first months of activity, with its “experiential” concerts, Napulitanata has received excellent feedback of critics and audiences, hosting many Italian and foreign visitors. Visitors who did not simply want to attend a musical show in an aseptic way, but wished to take home a memorable experience, in which they found themselves thrown into dancing the Tammurriata or singing their hearts out at ‘O sole mio.
Starting from this immense musical heritage, the Napulitanata show wants to be an experience in which the visitor is involved. All in an authentically “Neapolitan” context, with Neapolitan sounds, language, manner, hospitality and flavors.
Napulitanata does not offer a simple “pre-packaged” tourist concert, but wants to give true, authentic, Neapolitan emotions.
