First stop: Università
Here we can fin the historical Palazzo della Borsa (Stock Exchange Palace), beautiful to admire, and we are in a lucky position to reach Corso Umberto, one of the most important shopping streets in Naples. Starting from here it’s easy to reach the city center, hearth of the Nativity Scene Art and even more.
Getting again on the train, the next stop would be the Municipio
Here we are in front of the Maschio Angioino, one of the most beautiful castles of the city, and we are very close to the Municipio Square, which gives the name to he metro stop and where we can admire the Fontana del Nettuno (Neptune’s Fountain), recently. Here we can relax on many benches and a little fountain just in front of Naples harbour. Walking just a little bit more you can also find the Royal Palace.
After two minutes another stop: Toledo
You can immediately admire the most beautiful and fascinating metro stop Europe, you have only to see. Majestic and elegant. Then we arrive in the hearth of Toledo street, the most important street in Naples to go shopping. In this street you can also have a promenade and then you can go inside in via Chiaia (Chiaia street), another street rich in shops, boutiques, pizzerie and restaurants. In this street you can discover the taste of the Naples’ Street Food or you can end your way to the magnificent Piazza del Plebiscito (Plebiscito Square).
And if, on the one hand, Toledo ends in the Royal Palace Square … On the other?
Fourth stop: Dante
Here we admire a huge square with a magnificent statue of the great poet Dante Alighieri. The square is full of benches, many historical libraries and from here are easy to reach two very important places in the historical center: Piazza Bellini, always a night meeting for tourists and erasmus students, and piazza Del Gesù Nuovo where we can find the Church of the same name that has always been a culturally-visited place of worship.
Last stop: piazza Vanvitelli
After a short waiting time in the train, we can finally reach Vanvitelli, last stop of our tour. Piazza Vanvitelli is situated in the middle of the Vomero. From this place we can easily reach Via Scarlatti (Scarlatti Street), famous thanks to the shopping, or we can stay in the square where we have arrived to enjoy an happy hour in the afternoon or to look for relax in the greenery of the magnificent Villa della Floridiana, which offers beautiful landscapes to admire.
