After the great success of all the editions, the Caputo Napoli Pizza Village receives a great international recognition, being awarded as Best Food Festival at the prestigious The FestX Awards in Las Vegas, triumphing among the five nominations announced, as the only European event in contest, thanks to a combination of public vote and the jury that awarded 13 categories in contest.

An extraordinary event, which brings to the world two exceptional characteristics of the city of Naples: its exquisite pizza and its immense beauty and which has received the consecration, after years of success, of great work and a series of initiatives that testify the great love of the organizers for their work and for the city of Naples, as the idea of a museum to be dedicated to Neapolitan pizza with the creation of the MIP - International Museum of Pizza.

Even the recognition by UNESCO of the Art of Neapolitan Pizzaiuolo as a World Heritage Site, the result of a long and tiring journey began from the Naples Pizza Village in 2014, when the former Minister of Agriculture, Alfonso Pecoraro Scanio, gave life to what would become three years later, with over 2 million signatures collected, the petition with the largest number of supporters in the history of UNESCO.

Here is the emotional commentary of Claudio Sebillo and Alessandro Marinacci, founders and organizers of the event dedicated to Neapolitan pizza:

If someone in 2011, on the occasion of the first edition, had asked us about the future of Napoli Pizza Village in the next 10 years, we would not have been able to imagine even remotely a path dotted with so many prestigious goals
