in Piazza Trieste e Trento, straight ahead of you, there is “La Fontana del Carciofo”. On the right, you find a bench to restore some minutes before to start your path. When you are ready, take the direction of Piazza del Plebiscito get around it to see:

Corso Vittorio Emanuele/Pedamentina
go straight for Corso Vittorio Emanuele and keep going for another ten minutes. During your walk, you can admire:

- the Santa Lucia’s Church;
- a first view of Naples.
Keep going for another ten minutes and on the left there are Pedamentina stairways.
San Martino’s Pedamentina
San Martino's Pedamentina is an ancient path, built in the XIV century by the architect Tino di Camaino to protect Sant’Elmo’s Castle. Step by step, climbing all the 414 stairs you get in shape and enjoy the view of the different sides of Naples. The last step takes you in San Martino a place in the Vomero hill that brings the magic in your eyes and in your mind with the wonderful landscape of the city.
